FlexStaff is seeking a dedicated and skilled Radiologic Technologist for our client in their Radiology department. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality radiological services in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with C-Ray, CT, and/or MRI technology, and will be proficient in operating x-ray equipment, developing images, and preparing radiological areas, equipment, supplies, and contrast materials.
Salary Range:
– Level 1: $66,799
– Level 2: $71,109
– Level 3: $86,727
– Level 4: $132,425
Key Responsibilities:
– Prepare radiological areas, equipment, contrast materials, and supplies as needed for patient procedures.
– Explain procedures to patients, transfer them to tables, position them appropriately, and assist them at the end of the procedures.
– Follow prescribed techniques to administer general and specific x-rays, adjusting equipment settings as required.
– Develop high-quality images in accordance with photographic techniques, maintaining the highest standards of patient care.
– Monitor patients and equipment during procedures, reporting any unusual occurrences and documenting the patient’s condition.
– Utilize mobile x-ray equipment in patient care areas as needed and maintain supplies, equipment, and records.
– Adhere to safety protocols related to radiation for patients, employees, and the environment, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
Qualifications:
– Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist.
– Experience with C-Ray, CT, and/or MRI is highly preferred.
– Strong understanding of radiological techniques and safety protocols.
– Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
– Proficient in using electronic medical records (EMR) to document patient encounters and access relevant patient data.
