We have assignments available at our 20+ Northwell Health hospitals located throughout Manhattan, Queens, Staten Island, Long Island, and Westchester.
Long Island: Have some fun in the sun and take advantage of Long Island’s beautiful beaches, including Jones Beach and Robert Moses Beach. Catch a drink at the vineyards, shop till you drop, and visit Montauk Point State Park and the gorgeous Montauk Lighthouse.
Queens: Have a blast at Gantry Plaza State Park, home to the Pepsi-Cola sign, or Flushing Meadows Park, home of the world-renowned Unisphere. Enjoy a warm summer night at Citi Field (home of the New York Mets).
Staten Island: Escape the hustle and bustle of Manhattan by catching a ride to Staten Island on the Staten Island ferry. Bask in the glory of the Verrazano Bridge and become one with nature and visit the Snug Harbor Cultural Center and Botanical Gardens.
New York City: Have fun seeing sights, including the Statue of Liberty and Times Square. Explore museums like the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Check out a musical on Broadway and attend a show or sporting event at Madison Square Garden (home of the New York Knicks and Rangers).
Westchester: Explore the great outdoors by stopping by the Gazebo at Constitution Park and discover a hidden gem by visiting the New Croton Dam on the Hudson. Embark on a hike to see gorgeous views all year round, but especially during autumn.
