Key Responsibilities:
– Evaluate a patient’s need for physical therapy and develop an appropriate treatment plan.
– Provide appropriate care and treatment to patients based on physician care plans, agency policy, and professional standards of care.
– Instruct family members, PTAs, Home Health Aides, and other caregivers in appropriate physical therapy techniques.
Requirements:
– Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of New York or eligible.
– Ability to evaluate patients’ needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
– Provide care and treatment following physician care plans, agency policy, and professional standards.
– Instruct family members, PTAs, Home Health Aides, and other caregivers in appropriate physical therapy techniques.
– Mandatory Certifications: First Aid, AED, & CPR Certifications.
